Most of the RSO’s performances take place on the Meredith College campus. Mainstage concerts are in Jones Auditorium, while Chamber Concerts are in Jones Chapel.

Entering Meredith’s Campus

from Hillsborough Street: There is a security gate at a traffic circle north of the Hillsborough St. entrance; you do not need to check in with security to attend our concerts.
from Faircloth Street: This entrance comes to a T-stop at East Campus Drive: turn left on East Campus Drive to reach Jones Auditorium and Main Campus Drive. Faculty & Staff parking spaces are available to visitors after 5:00pm. The gate to this entrance closes daily at 11:00pm.

Main Campus Drive

Main Campus Drive from Hillsborough Street: after exiting the roundabout, the administration building can be seen at the end of the road. Jones Chapel and Lot 1 are to the left, while Jones Auditorium is to the right.

Jones Auditorium’s main entrance is visible to the right from the circle at the end of Main Campus Drive. The fountain and administration building can be seen to the left.

Visitor Lot 1

East Campus Drive

Turning right from Main Campus Drive is East Campus Drive; additional parking in Lot 18 is available along both sides of this road. Accessible parking is on the left and the lower level accessible entrance is to the right of the stairs visible in this picture.

Parking

Meredith College Campus Map

Visitor Lot 1 is adjacent to Jones Chapel and right across Main Campus Drive from Jones Auditorium.

Faculty & Staff Lot 18 runs along East Campus Drive, adjacent to Jones Auditorium’s lower entrance and accessible parking. Commuter Student Lot 17 is across from the Wainwright Music Building entrance; turn left inside this door and then follow the Accessible Entrance instructions for Jones Auditorium.

Parallel parking is available along either side of Main Campus Drive, until the intersection with East Campus Drive.

Please be mindful of signage on parking areas. Faculty & Staff (Lot 18) and Commuter Student (Lot 17) parking is available to visitors after 5pm, but accessible and student permit parking require authorization at all times.
All parking on Meredith College’s campus is free.
Additional parking is available in Lot 2 near the Alumnae House and Lot 19 near the Athletic Field.

Getting to Jones Auditorium (click for PDF guide with photos)

From the main entrance off Hillsborough Street, proceed up Main Campus Drive.
Proceed past the guardhouse unless otherwise instructed.
Once you hit the roundabout, take the second exit (as if keeping straight).
When you reach the fountain, Jones Auditorium will be to your right.
