Interested in Auditioning?
The Raleigh Symphony Orchestra holds auditions for open positions annually in late summer. While we do not always have positions open, we also hold auditions for substitute positions on all instruments - these musicians are contacted when personnel are unable to attend a particular rehearsal and/or concert.
Our next audition date is Pending - Check back in early summer!
Those interested in auditioning should prepare the following:
A movement of a sonata or concerto of their choice
OR
Two contrasting standard orchestral excerpts of their choice
Auditions will be unaccompanied.
